Caringbah Grading – 9 April 2008

Our first Grading Examination for 2008 proved to be long and tough tests for all students, with all coloured belt ranks being put through their paces on their grading night.  This exam was a great success, with the junior students showing very keen attitude and strong determination, and all senior coloured belts demonstrating exceptional fitness and focus, hence scoring good results in their exam. Congratulations to all students and a special mention to Jarrod Anderson and Jack Austin from Caringbah Dojang on each of their promotions to Brown Belt (2nd Grade), as I am sure your determination will be a motivating factor for junior students following in your footsteps. Well done.

8 March 2008 – Zone 3 Thrill Out

Students from all three AFTA Dojangs (Caringbah, Bankstown and Sutherland) gathered at Caringbah Zone 3 for a night of indoor laser skirmish! Indoor laser skirmish or “laser tag” consists of a number of teams armed with laser guns hunting each other in an indoor, 2 storey, pitch black laser maze! It was a totally crazy night, with people and laser beams going everywhere, but it was awesome fun! Plus we all had a chance for “free play” in the games arcade and the pizza for dinner went down well!

Ready for a thrill out!
